A Poem’s Advice and a Special Offer for the New Year

December '16

As the old year winds down and a new one arrives, you may be considering some “resolutions” for 2017. May I suggest a favorite poem by Rumi could provide some guidance for you? If you like, check it out below and take special note of the directions contained in the second stanza.

The Breeze at Dawn

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don’t go back to sleep.

You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep.

People are going back and forth across the doorsill
Where the two worlds touch.

The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep.

— Rumi

If you follow this advice when you develop your new  year’s resolutions and “ask for what you really want,” you’ll be traveling on a path towards a successful year. But it’s not always so easy to define “what you really want;” is it?

One powerful way to access your those deepest desires of yours is through guided journaling. To encourage you to embark on such an investigative journey, I’m offering my journaling eCourse at a greater than 20% discount for the whole month of January. This eCourse called, Reinvent Your Life ~ Write Now, contains writing prompts specifically designed to help you make your way through that “round, open door” and discover, “what you really want.” You can learn more about it here.

Meanwhile, may your 2017 be filled with many unexpected blessings and joy!
